Good to Know Before You Ride

Rides run at several times through the day, and the sunrise and sunset slots are the ones that book out first, both for the light over the valleys and the cooler air. We recommend reserving your time ahead, especially in the busy summer and fall months, so you get the slot you want. Transfers pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia and bring you back afterward.

Come dressed to ride. Long pants or jeans keep your legs from chafing against the saddle, and closed-toe shoes or boots with a low heel give you a better grip in the stirrups. A long-sleeved top helps with the sun, and in the colder months layers are the way to go. Skip anything loose or flowing that could snag on the horse or the tack. Helmets are handed out at the stable.
