Visiting Hours and How the Day Works

The Galata Tower runs two separate visiting sessions each day, so you can plan your skip-the-line entry around whatever fits your itinerary. Daytime admission is from 08:30 to 18:14, with the last tickets sold at 17:45. If you prefer the city after dark, the Night Museum session opens the tower again from 19:00 to 23:00, and the final tickets go on sale at 22:00.

Once inside, an elevator takes you most of the way up and a short spiral staircase brings you out to the observation deck. Most visitors spend roughly 45 minutes to an hour here between the museum exhibits and the views, though the evening session is worth timing for the lit-up skyline.
