Good to Know Before You Visit Topkapi Palace
Topkapi Palace is open every day except Tuesdays. In summer, from April 1 to October 1, the hours are 09:00 to 18:00, and in winter, from October 1 to April 1, they run 09:00 to 17:00. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing, and the palace is closed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
There's no dress code at Topkapi Palace, but if you're pairing your visit with nearby sites like Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque, it's smart to skip anything too revealing. The complex is large and you'll be on your feet a lot, so comfortable clothes and shoes go a long way.
