Topkapi Palace & Harem Guided Tour with Skip the Line Tickets
About this tour
A guided walk through Istanbul's Topkapi Palace, the seat of the Ottoman sultans for centuries, with skip-the-line entry so you spend your time inside rather than in the ticket queue. Your English-speaking guide leads you through the Harem, the Imperial Treasury, and the Holy Relics Chamber, past Iznik-tiled halls and courtyards that look out over the Bosphorus. Depending on the option you pick, you can add Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, or Hagia Irene. Plan on about two to three hours.

Topkapi Palace: Hours & What to Wear
Topkapi Palace is open every day except Tuesdays. From April 1 to October 1 the hours are 09:00 to 18:00, and from October 1 to April 1 they shorten to 09:00 to 17:00. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. The palace is also closed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
There is no formal dress code, but if you're pairing your visit with Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque nearby, it's smart to skip anything too revealing. The complex covers a lot of ground, so comfortable clothes and shoes will serve you well as you make your way between the courtyards, the Harem, and the Treasury.
