Topkapi Palace & Harem Guided Tour with Skip-the-Line Entry
About this tour
Topkapi Palace was the seat of the Ottoman sultans for close to 400 years, and this guided visit gets you inside with skip-the-line entry. You'll walk the Harem, the private living quarters of the sultan and his household, and see the jeweled weapons and treasures of the Imperial Treasury. An English-speaking guide walks you through the courtyards, the Iznik-tiled rooms, and the Holy Relics Chamber, with garden terraces looking out over the Bosphorus. Optional add-ons cover Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Irene.

Topkapi Palace Hours, Dress Code & Visit Logistics
Topkapi Palace is open every day except Tuesdays. In summer, from April 1 to October 1, hours run 09:00 to 18:00, and in winter, from October 1 to April 1, 09:00 to 17:00. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing, and the palace is closed on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
There is no formal dress code, but if you plan to pair your visit with nearby sites like Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque, it's smart to skip anything too revealing. The palace grounds are large and involve a fair amount of walking over open courtyards, so plan on comfortable clothes and shoes.
