Good to Know Before You Go
Your day starts with a hotel pickup between 09:00 and 09:30, and the group usually gets back around 17:00 to 18:00. Sites like the Göreme Open-Air Museum and the underground city keep their own hours, generally 08:00 or 09:00 to 17:00 or 19:00, and these can shift a little by season. Because it's a group tour, sticking to your guide's timing keeps things moving and gives everyone the most time at each stop.
Dress casual and comfortable, since there's a good amount of walking and some light hiking on this route. Closed-toe shoes with real grip matter here, as you'll be on dirt trails and uneven ground. For the cave churches and other religious sites, plan to cover your shoulders and knees.
