Galata Tower Visiting Hours
The Galata Tower runs two separate visiting sessions each day, so you can time your climb for daylight or after dark. Daytime hours are 08:30 to 18:14, with the last tickets sold at 17:45.
In the evening the tower reopens for its Night Museum session, from 19:00 to 23:00, with the final tickets sold at 22:00.

Important Information
- It gets crowded in peak season; book ahead and aim for a morning visit
- An elevator covers most of the way up, but the final flights are a narrow spiral staircase, tough for anyone with mobility issues
- Photography is allowed inside; flash may be restricted near the exhibits
- A cafe and souvenir shop are located within the tower complex
- The observation deck is open-air and can be windy in cooler months, so bring a light jacket
- Pairs well with a walk over Galata Bridge, coffee in Karakoy, or a stroll along Istiklal Avenue
