Galata Tower Visiting Hours
Galata Tower runs two separate sessions each day, so you can plan your visit for daylight or after dark. The daytime session is open from 08:30 to 18:14, with the last tickets sold at 17:45.
In the evening the tower reopens as the Night Museum from 19:00 to 23:00, and the final tickets go on sale at 22:00. Figure on roughly 45 minutes to an hour to explore the museum floors and take in the view from the top.

Important Information
- Galata Tower gets busy in peak season; a morning slot booked ahead is your best bet.
- An elevator covers most of the climb, but the final flights are a narrow spiral staircase, not ideal for limited mobility.
- Photography is allowed inside Galata Tower, though flash may be off-limits near the exhibits.
- The Galata Tower complex has a cafe and a souvenir shop.
- The observation deck is open-air and gets windy in cooler months; bring a light jacket.
- Pairs well with a walk across Galata Bridge, coffee in Karakoy, or a stroll down Istiklal Avenue; guided walks of the Galata area are also an option.
- Follow staff instructions at all times.
- Do not lean out of windows or climb on any structures.
- Do not touch or damage the exhibits.
- No smoking inside Galata Tower.
