Opening Hours and Visiting Sessions
The Galata Tower runs two separate visiting sessions each day, so you can go up in daylight or after dark. Daytime hours are 08:30 to 18:14, with the last tickets sold at 17:45.
In the evening it reopens as the Night Museum from 19:00 to 23:00, with the final ticket sold at 22:00. The view of the lit-up city and the Bosphorus after dark is well worth planning around.

Important Information
- Gets crowded in peak season; book ahead and go in the morning if you can
- An elevator covers most of the way up; the last flights are a narrow spiral staircase, tough for those with mobility issues
- Photography is allowed inside, though flash may be off-limits near some exhibits
- A cafe and souvenir shop are inside the complex
- The observation deck is open-air and can be windy, especially in cooler months; bring a light jacket
