Galata Tower Hours and What to Expect

Galata Tower runs on two separate visiting sessions each day, so you can choose a daytime or an evening slot. Daytime entry is 08:30 to 18:14, with the last tickets sold at 17:45. The tower then reopens for its Night Museum session from 19:00 to 23:00, and the final tickets go on sale at 22:00.

Mornings are the quietest time to go up, especially in high season, so an early daytime slot is worth booking ahead. Most people spend around 45 minutes to an hour at the top taking in the views before the walk continues on to Galata Bridge, the Spice Bazaar, and the Fener and Balat neighborhoods.
