Riding a quad bike through Cappadocia's valleys at dawn is a different way to catch the sunrise, and the hot air balloons drift overhead while you drive. Over two hours you follow dirt trails through Kiliclar, Gulludere, Kizilcukur and Love Valley, passing the old cave village of Cavusin along the way. Pickup from your hotel, a guide, helmet and fuel are all part of the deal, and pickup time shifts with the sunrise so you arrive as the light comes up over the rock formations.

How the 2-Hour Sunrise Quad Ride Through the Valleys Works

A driver collects you from your hotel in Cappadocia before dawn, with the exact pickup time set according to when the sun rises that day. After a short briefing you get your helmet, mount your ATV and set off while the sky is still turning color.

The route covers roughly two hours of riding through some of the region's best-known valleys: Kiliclar Valley, Gulludere (Rose Valley), Kizilcukur (Red Valley) and Love Valley, plus a pass through Cavusin, an old village carved into the rock. The trails wind between fairy chimneys and eroded cliffs, and as the morning light builds you will see hot air balloons lifting off around you, which is one of the main reasons to pick the sunrise slot.

This is a guided group ride, conducted in English, and the price covers your guide, helmet and fuel. Children under 12 can come along but must ride as passengers on the back seat. When the loop is done, you are driven back to your hotel.
