Daytime trips generally start around 09:00 or 13:00, and sunset departures go out a few hours before dusk, roughly 15:00 to 17:00 depending on the season. Exact times move around with the season and how busy things are, so it's worth confirming your slot when you book.
Dress in layers, since the temperature swings a fair bit over the course of the ride, especially on the early and late departures. Long pants or shorts both work, but wear closed-toe shoes with real grip, as some stops involve walking on uneven ground.
